Sarah Ann Murphy

Carolina Mancuso was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  At the age of 15 she moved to Hamburg Germany to study at ​the  Hamburg ballet school. After graduating and working for four years with the Hamburg Ballet of John Neumeier, her thirst to continue learning guided her to the Nederlands Dans Theater, where her career as a contemporary dancer would have a big twist.
In the Nederlands Dans Theater 1 and 2, she danced a vast repertoire and was part of many creations of highly renowned choreographers: Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Marco Goecke, Stijn Celis, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Crystal Pite, Paul Lightfoot and Sol Leon amongst others.  She began as a costume designer with 2011 Marina Mascarell's creation ''Today your Black Shoes are Grey'' premiered in Korzo Theater.
From August 2013 she began her career as a freelance dancer and costume designer, working with high rank choreographers and photographers of today’s contemporary scene:  Marina Mascarell, Joeri Dubbe, Jiri Pokorny, Joris -Jan Bos, among others.
  • Sarah Murphy was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. At 15 she was accepted into the the North Caronlina School of the Performing Arts modern dance division. She graduated in 2006 and was accepted to the Juilliard School. In 2009 Sarah won a Princess Grace Award and in 2010 Received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School. 

Sarah has danced for Sylvain Emard Danse in "Wave", Netherlands Dance Theater II where she danced works by Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Hans Van Manen, Alexander Ekman, Sharon Eyal & Gui Behar, Lightfoot/Leon, Ivan Perez, Lukas Timulak, Ken Ossala, Jiri Pokorny and Nathalia Horencna. Sarah has also danced for Antonin Comestaz in "plastic Junkies" and ""Out of the Grey", Ivan Perez in "Hide and Seek" and Joeri Dubbe in "Solaris", Infant (solo), "Kitsune", and "Infant" his latest full evening creation. Sarah was also a contemporary teacher for the Canon Dance Open Look festival this summer in St. Petersburg, Russia.  Sarah is also the winner of 2015 Piket Kunstprijzen and 1 Prize winner of Best Performance in the Solo Stuttgart Festival with "Enfant"
